Key Points
"at week one, residents in the PARO group had a greater increase in the night sleep period (1.81, 95 % CI: 0.22–3.84, p = 0.030, Cohen's d = 0.570). At week six, residents in the PARO group showed a greater increase in daytime wakefulness (1.91, 95 % CI: 0.09–3.73, p = 0.042, Cohen's d = 0.655) and a greater reduction in daytime sleep (-1.35, 95 % CI: -2.65 to -0.05, p = 0.040, Cohen's d = 0.664). No significant results were found for motor activity. " Pu 2021
